Tribal Gaming Commission

The Swinomish Gaming Commission is the primary regulatory authority over gaming within the boundaries of the Swinomish Reservation.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Swinomish Gaming Commission is to be an entity of the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community that is independent of the operations of gaming activities allowed within the Swinomish Indian Reservation boundaries.  It is the mission of the Gaming Commission to assure a continued high degree of integrity in gaming, as well as protecting the health and safety of patrons and employees and the assets of the Tribe.

The Gaming Commission is dedicated to assisting in the formulation of, and the oversight of internal controls that dictate how the operations of the gaming enterprise are conducted.

It is the continuous goal of commission staff to represent the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community in a professional manner, working with other administrative/management, and/or staff personnel both within and outside the Tribe, for the common goal of protecting the assets of the Tribe. Further, it is the goal of the Commission staff to detect those who would commit illegal activities, and seek dispositions against those appropriate persons who pose a threat or harm to the gaming facility or its patrons/employees, or the Tribe's assets.
