The Tribe is organized into seven principal departments. Department Directors supervise and direct Tribal programs in conjunction with one or more Senate Committees that provide policy and guidance in that particular function. Through these departments and committees, the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community provides a variety of resources and services, both to the immediate tribal community and to the public at large.

Many resources are offered through the specific departments and programs at Swinomish Indian Tribal Community. Some of these resources include: educational, social service, permitting, planning, realty, medical, dental, safety, economic development, and resource protection, to name a few.
